Tips: How to rename a Windows mobile 6.1 Standard device?

Prior to the release of Windows Mobile 6.1, it was not easily possible to rename a non-touchscreen device. That required modifying the registry. Of course, this is not a recommended approach.

With Windows Mobile 6.1, this is now possible. Simply click on Start > Settings. Click 3 times on More and the "Device name" option will appear. Reboot the device after the change is done.
